Welcome Friends!

I’M so glad you’re here!

I love how this little space on the web allows me to share all the love stories that I get to capture behind my camera. Thanks for stopping by and getting to know a little more about who I am and the beautiful people I get to meet.

The King Family // Freedom Park

A gorgeous family, perfect lighting, and some pretty darn sweet kids = one amazing  family session. The King Family recently moved to Charlotte from NYC with their two little ones and were excited to get some family photo’s as a new family of four! Elizabeth was referred to me by a past client (thanks Laura!) and I jumped at the opportunity to do their shoot. Anderson (their 2 year old) was the most handsome little boy and I loved  how he adored his new baby sister Annabel. We found a little nook at the oh-so-crowded Freedom Park that I just loved. Here are some of my favorites from this session:

  • You should take a drive with the falimy up past Batchelor Heights on the Lac Du Bois road. Go about 15 km up the road and on the right hand side you’ll see a tiny pull out with two no/post guardrails on it (those cement barrier things)and a pretty pond behind them. Park there and follow the trail off to the right. It takes you up into the hills and, once you get over the first one, you will see rolling hills as far as the eye can see and a few little lakes too. It’s one of my favorite places in all of the loops. It’s also, hands down, Juno’s favorite place to explore. I’d take you there, but LOL

  • The Tory are in a definitely winning scenario. If the referendum is defeated, they’ll be credited for keeping the United Kingdom united. If the referendum is carried, they’ll be a lot closer to an outright majority since many of Labour’s and Libdems’ safe seats are in Scotland. What I found difficult to understand is the position of the LibDems (their Michael Moore is the Secretary of State for Scotland). They got nothing to win in this deal, although it’s in line with their core value to maximise civil rights and liberties.
