This had to have been the world’s shortest photo “shoot” but I am so happy my teenage cousins agreed to it. This past week I went back to Canada to visit and care after my grandparents but most importantly was able to give my aunt and uncle a break from the constant support they are to my grandparents. My aunt Jane and uncle Peter are some of the most selfless and giving servants you will ever meet. They have sacrificed so much to care for my precious grandparents. With my Dzia Dzia’s (that means grandpa in polish) declining health due to Parkinson’s disease he is now needing constant care thru the night. Jane (their daughter in-law) now sleeps over at their house and ensures that they take their meds on time and that proper care is given to them. I couldn’t think of better hands for my sweet grandparents to be in. My Babcia and Dzia Dzia literally mean the world to me and although it is sad to see them grow old and ill, I am so comforted knowing that Jane and Peter are with them.
Jane really wanted her oldest son to get some Senior photos taken and although he refused, I used my persuasive older cousin powers and insisted it would be a painless event and a nice surprise for his mom. I even got his younger brother and adorable family dog to participate. I really hope you love these few but meaningful photos, Jane! You really have such a beautiful family.
