This Fall was such a fun time to shoot so many engagement sessions. Allie & Brett are a really sweet couple and their love for each other really came out in these images. It’s been a dream of mine to do a session on the lake with a canoe– and it finally happened! My really talented friend, Lauren Jackson, will be photographing their beautiful wedding this year and I can’t wait to see the images from their day. XO

Ahhh I just love these two! Matt and I instantly clicked with Ben & Christen when we had our client consult with them several months back and we can’t wait until their Outer Banks wedding this summer. We secretly envy how much they have traveled the world together and have lived in some pretty cool places. Their comfortability with each other (and Ben’s quirky humor) made this session so fun for me to capture. Did I mention the light was beautiful too?! XO

Tyler & Elisabeth Engaged! // Uptown Charlotte

I first met Elisabeth & Tyler one January afternoon as we drank coffee at Amelies and chatted about the details of their wedding day. I instantly knew that I just HAD to photograph their beautiful Boone wedding and capture their sweet love. Elisabeth is such an organized bride and had so many cute ideas for their engagement session. Their love story is straight out of a fairy-tale book and we wanted their session to reflect just that. The night they first met they had laughed and danced the night away at Uptowns Speed Street, and it wasn’t long after that they started dating and eventually got engaged this past October in Switzerland.
