Brace yourself for a lengthy blog post of last weekend’s beautiful beach wedding! We just had too many favorites from their day! Eric & Rachel tied the knot in a quaint Wrightsville Beach church and partied the night away at the Shell Island Beach Resort. Rachel was such an organized bride and gave us so much time to capture their day! We loved getting to know these two and their sweet families.

So many of our brides are opting to do a “first touch” to ease some of the nerves before they walk down the aisle… and we love capturing these moments for them!
Rachel allotted a good amount of time for bridal party photos so we headed down to Greenfield Lake in Wilmington for a change of scenery. The lighting couldn’t have been better!
Oh man, these guys cracked us up!
When Rachel first told me she wanted to do sunset photos on the beach I think I might have squealed in excitement.
They even had a photo booth set up for their guests to share photos… but we couldn’t resist getting some of our own!
We wish you guys so much happiness as you enter this new journey of marriage. XO

Could not ask for more on July 20, 2013….a beautiful couple
(inside and out)…..a lovely ceremony at St Therese Catholic Church….an incredible venue at Shell Island resort……the ocean breeze, plenty of sunshine and a full moon ….Thank you Melissa and Matt for capturing not only the exquisite details that made for a beautiful wedding but mostly for capturing the sheer joy and the love that was obvious from start to finish on my son’s wedding day! You captured the day so perfectly! I am grateful! Ginger Howland
